FEAR STREET PART 3 is the final installment in the supernatural horror trilogy of FEAR STREET directed by Leigh Janiak based on the book series by famous writer R.L Stine. Produced by Chernin Entertainment, the movie had a very low budget and so less computer virtual effects were there but all the actors either old or young acted their best and made it successful.
The story continues exactly after the end of second part. It takes you directly to the time of 1666, the origin of witch’s curse and shows the way of escaping it. It shows how the different founding families were involved in it and why only the Shady side part is doomed. This part explains what actually the curse is and how it is placed only on Shady siders for almost 300+ years. This part has many unexpected twists and some predictable too.
The direction by Leigh Janiak improved with each part. But still in some scenes, lightning is not good. Rest some scenes are quite horror and impressive. The village scenes are nice and show ancient people’s faith in devil and curses.
All the cast give their best in this part. Kiana as Deena and Olivia as Sam worked quite good for the character and nailed it. Benjamin as Josh has less role in 1666 but his acting too is quite nice. Ashley as Soloman Goode has also done a wonderful job. Darell as Martin actually entertained us with his different funny faces. Rest all the actors has done good job and helped in making the story more interesting.
